Wall Coverings

A different way to look at your rug  To decorate your walls, you today can suspend a rug just as a picture.  Covering your wall in fabric or vinyl. Rugs are not only good  to walk on. Realize one of your walls in wall hanging.

FABRIC ON A WALL
Stretched fabric conveys the impression of comfort and intimacy due to the insulating effect it creates.  The typical solution for lining a wall with fabric, is to stretch it flat on the wall so that it’s pattern is clearly visible. When applied over a layer of interlining, fabric is warm to the touch and provides acoustic comfort through insulation.  The interlining also absorbs any irregularities in the wall.
Fabric mounting is particularly suggested for use in the bedroom, or any room where a sense of enclosure is desired.  Fabric is not recommended for constantly frequented areas such as the living room, or areas with smoke and grease such as the kitchen.

RUG ON A WALL
Hanging a carpet on a wall can enhance the ambiance of a room through the warm feel of fabric, reflecting light shades, as well as allowing for a natural, acoustic comfort, effectively soundproofing the room.   Carpets today are so beautifully crafted that they are works of art in of themselves. To make your wall rug stand out, it should be lit  with directional spotlights, for example. Rugs that immitate pebbles, stones, sand, or earth are some great motifs for wall hanging rugs.

VINYL WALLS
There are many types of vinyl that imitate leather and other animal skins such as crocodile, cow, snake, elephant, which you can use to cover your walls in an origina way..  These imitations will bring relief to your walls. They are very practical, easily cleaned with a sponge and some liquid soap.  You should only cover one or two walls in your room, to maintain aesthetic sensibility, or use vinyl to make certain objects in your room stand out.   For example, cover only your fireplace with an imitation leather to match your sofa.
