Personalize your walls

There comes a special moment in everyone’s life when we feel a strong desire to make a change. Sometimes, these changes occur in places that don’t necessarily affect our outer image – the bedroom walls. Further on, there comes the need to personalize that change, thus the innovative and sometimes unique ideas.

Idea #1 – OLED (Organic Light-Emitting Diode) tiles
Thanks to lightning designer Shane Crozier, aspiring artists can express their ideas by painting images on tiles that look translucent during the day and admire them in the evening, while they are brought to life (thus, the name “Breathing Patchwork”).
Home artists can design their own pattern with modular 150×150 mm light tiles, that are made of a frame OLED emitter and topped with a sheet of clear acrylic. This sheet can be covered with water-based acrylic paints, thus releasing innovative textures.
If you develop new ideas, you can reuse the acrylic panels, by removing them from the frames and wash them with warm water. Having contacts on each of the four sides of the tile, the pattern can be modulated at your own pleasure, limited only by the design you have created.
Designer’s note: “Breathing Patchwork can be used to display children artwork, family patchworks, or any other artwork of personal and emotional relevance”.

Idea #3 – Wall decals/tattoos
For those of you who can’t paint your wall for various reasons, such as living with a strict landlord, you can approach a cleaner solution for decorating the place.
With the removable wall decals/tattoos, cut from an adhesive vinyl sheet, you can transform a flat space into a work of contemporary art. These creative and revitalizing solutions are available in endless colors and patterns and deliver numerous messages within the space of display.

Idea #4 – Wall projections
Our last choice is an elegant and original solution. The secret is to project an image onto an opaque wall, having a smooth surface and finish. You will also need a place on the opposite wall to fix the projector, which should be within your reach and in close contact with the power outlets.
Projecting either a static image or a dynamic sequence of frames, this solution will add a certain vibration to your place.
