Different Christian cultures have developed their own traditions of celebrating Easter all across the world. Obviously, various traditions imply distinct festive elements. Starting with food courses, celebration habits and decor elements, they all vary according to the culture they arose from.
However, the Easter egg seems to be the element that reunites all of them. As a symbol of new life, rebirth, hope and wellbeing, the egg becomes the centerpiece in every Easter celebration. Consequently, the decoration process takes a lot of patience and – above all – artistic skills that make the ordinary egg become a cultural symbol.
